This 2-part class will get your quilting hobby off to the best start! You will learn tips on rotary cutting, the importance of sewing with a true 1/4" seam, how to lay out your fabrics, and how to measure and finish your quilt.

In this class you will learn how to measure, cut, and stitch binding -- both straight and bias. Please bring a small project (it can even be a hotpad) that has been quilted and is ready to be bound.

Come join a class that will combine your love of books and your love of quilting! Eight sessions that will include a taste of the best of both worlds. When you sign-up for the club, you will receive all the patterns from Kim Deihls "Simple Whatnots 13 Club" with the opportunity to buy a kit. We hope the club members will share a favorite book with the club, months will be assigned/chosen at the first meeting. There will also be a demo on and a discussion of some traditional historic quilt blocks, their origins along with a handout that you can use to create these blocks using your own stash fabrics. We hope you will join us for this new club and help make it a success.

Once you've started making quilts, this is the next class you'll want to take. You will learn the basics of measuring for borders, but will learn how to make pieced borders, mitered corners, scalloped edges and more.

Learn how to make simple embroidery stitches out-of-this-world elegant with Ann Degener. For the first class, please bring a project of your own to work on. Jan is hosting this evening every 4th Friday. You can bring ANY project you want to work on or may need a little help with. She will provide a lite box dinner; you bring your own drinks and treats. This will be a great time to help you finish up some of those lingering projects! If you've ever taken a class from Jan, you know how much fun she makes everything.

Rachelle Ludwinski has created this darling 30" x 40" wall-hanging. She will be teaching this 12-month class! You will learn all her tips and embellishment techniques as you progress through the year. This class is for all Judy Niemeyer lovers that have projects they are struggling to complete on your own; for those that have forgotten everything you knew about Judy's paper-piecing technique; and for those who would like to meet other people that are working on Judy Niemeyer projects. Karen Caduff will be the instructor and therapist for this group. You can pick and choose the classes you want to attend.

We are excited to offer this class again for children ages 8 and older! They will make six different projects that they will mostly be able to finish in class, for example a pillow case, tote bag, and throw pillows. We have machines available for the students to use, which makes it easier on the teacher as she won't have to figure out bobbins and threading on various sewing machines. The 3-hour class will last six weeks, with a make-up class on the 7th week for any missed classes or unfinished projects.

This three-part class will teach you all about quilting on your machine, adding borders, and bindings, all sewn on your regular sewing machine! One of our all-time most popular classes is learning to quilt on your machine. It's so much easier than you think and Jan will teach you several different techniques. And then we're having a class on adding borders, and one on bindings, where you will learn everything to measuring for borders & backs, Mitering border corners, matching fabric when you have to seam your back and finishing your bindings on the machine. A great class, which will make your sewing machine do so much more than you thought possible!

Every month we will make a different pouch using different techniques. There will be a kit available with the pattern, fabric, and accessories -- prices will vary. You will sew in class and go home with a cute pouch. These are cute and fast and make awesome gifts!

This year we'll be making houses, village buildings, trees, and more in another block-of-the-month quilt! Each month there will be a block or blocks, which will be $5 each. If you bring your finished block from the prior month and attend class, you will get your next block for just $3. You will need to buy your background at the first class, but we will give you a 20% discount. The price of the class includes the pattern.

Once again the Wild Woolie Women will be starting a new project for the first six months of the year - "Bee Humble." Choose from the afternoon or evening sessions. This is a great club that has been meeting for several years and many friendships have been made. We'd love to welcome new members who enjoy working with wool.
