Books, Blocks, & Simple Whatnots Social Club 14
Come Join this fun social club - We are combining our love for quilting, books, and food and turning it into a social event. This monthly Club meets on the 3rd Wednesdays for 8 months. We will gather to share favorite books, receive a pattern for one of Kim Diehl's lovely Series 14 Whatnot projects, and share projects we have made or are currently working on. Come join our circle of friends, the more the merrier!

New technique! It's a fusion quilt, which combines quilt squares with crocheting, so it fuses sewing with crochet. As this is a fusion quilt of both crochet and quilting, you will learn both techniques. There are a lot of ideas for Fusion Quilts, i.e. a baby quilt, a light-weight lap quilt (especially nice for those in a wheelchair). a bed cover or even a tablecloth or topper.

This year we'll be making sheep! Each one has a cute quilt block on it. They are made from a variety of low volume prints. You will choose and purchase your background. We will have some options for borders. The monthly kit will be $5, but if you bring your finished block from the previous month, you'll only pay $3.
