You can never have too many cute bags in your stash! There's always another need for a different size, shape, or use. We are introducing a new bag every month that will teach you new techniques and skills. As a class member, you will help decide the bag/tote that will be made the following month. This is a 6-month class, starting in April 2026.

Beginning Quilting - Swatch Quilt
This 3-part class will get your quilting hobby off to the best start! You will learn tips on rotary cutting, the importance of sewing with a true 1/4" seam, how to lay out your fabrics, and how to measure, sew, and finish your quilt.

Binding 101
In this class you will learn how to measure, cut, and stitch binding -- both straight and bias. We will provide a small project for you to practice on. You will learn both hand and machine finishing on binding.

Books, Blocks, & Simple Whatnots Social Club 15
Come Join this fun social club - We are combining our love for quilting, books, and food and turning it into a social event. This monthly Club meets on the 3rd Wednesdays for 8 months. We will gather to share favorite books, receive a pattern for one of Kim Diehl's lovely Series 15 Whatnot projects, and share projects we have made or are currently working on. Come join our circle of friends, the more the merrier!

Jan is hosting this evening every 4th Friday. You can bring ANY project you want to work on or may need a little help with. She will provide a lite box dinner; you bring your own drinks and treats. This will be a great time to help you finish up some of those lingering projects! If you've ever taken a class from Jan, you know how much fun she makes everything.

We are offering an after-school sewing class for students ages 9+! It will be a two hour class for 6 weeks. Projects will be simple enough most can finish it in class, or very nearly. We will provide the sewing machines; you will need to bring a basic sewing kit (pins, scissors, etc) and purchase your material. We will give a 15% discounts for anything purchased at our shop for class.
